~Fabulous~ Fall!

I absolutely LOVE this time of year! The cool crisp days, scent of drying leaves, apples and pears, blue skies with puffs of white clouds and leaves twirling their way to the ground, campfires at dusk - ahhh it's ALL good!

Here are a few photos I took the last couple of weeks:

The indian corn is from the garden, and we are just finishing up the pine boards out on the back porch - it's lookin' good! Next weekend is our halloween party - check back here for some photos of more fall fun and halloween happenings!

Here is the Spiritual Journey gift for October - there are two backgrounds, a sun and a moon.
All free for you to enjoy!
The inspirational scripture is from the book of Genesis:
Chapter 1:14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth.”
And it was so. God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars.
God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth, to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness.

And God saw that it was good.
I chose this passage because this time of year I see the most wonderful skies, and I can't help but think how wonderful God is. He gives us so much, and asks for little in return. LOVE Him, TRUST Him, WORSHIP Him...with all your heart!

Your photos are lovely! How do you get the corn different colours like that? I've always wondered that.
